SO. I have one of the few copies of The Used’s demos from the basement CD. It’s basically the CD they recorded [at home] and sent to producers in order to become a band on a label. I bought it a few years ago back when I was obsessed with the band. 

It’s a bit of a rarity, really. If you are a major Used fan, this is a really special treat. And that is where my problem comes in. This dude from the forum site I go on realized I had bought the CD and is now trying to buy it from me. He is offering $150 for the CD. That’s triple the amount I paid for it. The problem for me is that the CD has some sentimental value for me… It reminds me of my high school days. I don’t want to sell it, but at the same time, I’m really not into the band as much as I used to be.

So what should I do? Should I sell it, or should I tell this kid I’m keeping it for good? Mind you, he’s been on my back for months trying to buy it off me…
